Hi Everyone,
This is NOT a prayer update but it is related to education in Cambodia.
There is an organization called One Laptop Per Child that was founded by Nicholas Negroponte, the co-founder of MIT’s Media Lab. The name says it all … they desire to put a laptop into the hands of every school aged child in the world.
At any time people can donate to buy a $200 laptop for a child in a developing country. The Cambodia connection is that this is one of the countries where they are running the pilot program.
Finally, for a brief window of time, beginning November 12, they have a “Give 1 Get 1″ program which may be of interest to nerdy parents (like me).
