How can you partner with us?
Some of you may be sitting there wondering, “How can I be a part of this?” Others may be thinking, “Why do Anita and Danny get to have all the fun? I want in on this too!” Still others may pondering, “Why in the world did I have that second burrito for lunch today?” This page is written for those in the first two camps.
There are three main ways you can partner with us in this mission: prayer, finances, and joining us on the field.
Prayer
John Wesley once said, “God does nothing except in answer to prayer.” Had this quote come from a lesser man, we would be quick to label him a heretic. And, while we don’t believe the quote to be altogether true, we can’t help but think that the amazing impact of the Wesley brothers’ ministry was due to their commitment to intercessory prayer.
We invite all of you to pray for us as on a casual basis (meaning when you remember or feel led to). To facilitate this we’ve created the prayer updates portion of our website. There you’ll find the latest scoop on our life and ministry along with current prayer requests and the ability to sign yourself up for e-mail updates.
We realize that some of you may feel compelled to intercede for the Khmer, the ministry of InnerCHANGE, and our lives on a regular basis. If you fall into this category, please let us know so that we can be encouraged!
We’ve located two prayer resources to help you get started. The first is a Cambodia prayer guide from Operation World and the second is a guide describing How to Pray for Your Missionaries.
Finances
Our ministry is made possible by the generous giving of our supporters. Since the lives of our supporters constantly change, we are continually below or above budget. Budget excesses have been, and will continue to be, given to bless the poor and the church in Cambodia. Budget shortfalls result in missed or reduced paychecks. (Incidentally, monthly gifts help us greatly in determining our on going support raising needs.) So, if you believe that God is calling you to become a supporter, please let us know so we can inform you of any current needs. As with prayer, please don’t commit unless
God calls you. We are looking for people to partner with us for the long haul and know that, unless God is in it, the partnership will grow weaker rather than stronger over time.

Join us
As with the prayer commitment and financial support, please do not commit to becoming a missionary without a clear conviction from God! If you are called to serve among the poor, in Cambodia, in the context of an order … then contact us immediately so we can get you started! If you are interested in missions in any context, please feel free to contact us so we can help connect you with people and organizations that might suit you’re calling, gifting, and personality! We would consider it a privilege to talk to you about missions and pray with you as you seek to understand God’s call on your life!
Our commitment to you
We have asked for significant commitments from our supporters and want you to know that we will do our best to make this a real partnership. We make three commitments to all our partners:
- Prayer: We will pray for you on a regular basis and want to be kept informed of how to best pray for you.
- Communication: We will send e-mail updates once or twice a month and will send a letter every other month.
- Financial accountability: We will provide budgets and a record of actual income and expenditures at the end of the calendar year.

While we believe that our overhead (CRM Services) is a bargain for the support that we receive from CRM/InnerCHANGE, we realize that some of our supporters have concerns about it. If you’re one of them, you may find it helpful to read “Is Overhead a Waste of Money?“.
